it's waaaay better than I thought. It's actually IS a good story, and Shinohara really shines in it with her "working woman" charm.
I think many women working at the offices around the world might relate at the situations she gets into, and some are fairy-tale-like, the kind of fairy-tale most women like.
It gave me really warm and fuzzy feeling. As usual, Shinohara Ryoko-san no heroine didn't annoy me as much as usual Japanese girls, and her choices are mostly solid or easily explained by emotions.
Granted, that's partially screenwriter's achievement: Nakazono Miho also wrote Haken no Hinkaku, Star no Koi and Yamato Nadeshiko. Still, Matsushima Nanako and Fujiwara Noriko annoyed me much more.
I also surprisingly liked Akanishi in this dorama. Although his acting is a bit stiff, but only in this outstanding actors' company. In any other cast he would've fit right in. He had his good moments, too - when he didn't try to make a face.
What should I watch next though?
